Our lawyers have extensive in-house experience at a senior level and are equipped to approach clients’ needs in a proactively business way. They find the solutions, not the problems.
We advise a range of small to mid-sized companies, from both the gaming industry and from other sectors, on all corporate related matters from company incorporation to negotiating and executing the acquisition or sale of a commercial entity, whether it be shares or assets.
We have acted for a number of start-up companies and believe that it is important to understand their commercial aspirations and objectives to enable
us to provide a coherent analysis of their corporate structuring options. This can be particularly important in the gaming sector where operational, regulatory and taxation considerations are paramount. Our corporate and regulatory lawyers work closely to ensure that these factors are properly considered and reflected in the structuring process. We provide advice on a variety of corporate structures including shareholders’ agreements and joint venture agreements. We also have close working relationships with company formation specialists, which allows us to set up new companies efficiently and at a competitive cost.
In addition to providing corporate advice to the gaming industry, we have acted for a number of non-gaming clients, particularly in the hotel and leisure industry, which is well complemented by our liquor and entertainment department. In doing so, we have gained extensive experience on general corporate issues relating to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital projects.
We are often instructed to provide specialist advice in relation to significant corporate transactions involving gambling, licensing and regulatory matters, including specialist due diligence.
